Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1968 Oldsmobile CUTLASS recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Full Description: A terrific color combo, proper V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and cold-blowing A/C all mean this 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible is the kind of classic that offers everything you want for an ideal price. The Olds A-bodies went through a re-design in 1968 to make them the look like the widest and sleekest car on the road. In fact, the era of extra wide cars is showcased on two sets of headlights with so much space in-between that you can fit a horizontal parking light. And that "S" badge in the center is correct because these coupes were technically the Cutlass S model that designated the sporty shorter wheelbase than the sedans. That's why it also deserves this flashy yellow paint. It's a later quality application that gives this sunshine-friendly convertible plenty of attention-grabbing shine in the sunlight. Plus, the chrome and stainless are quite nice and really pop against the yellow paint. And we especially love the bumpers, because arguably, no one was better at incorporating those chrome kings into the design better than a 1960s Olds. But there's also a sinister side to this mature classic. The iconic Super Stock wheels with extra meaty rear rubber, hood vents, and fresh black convertible top give this an imposing stance. The roof powers down to reveal an attractive black interior with all the right upgrades. This is built with thoughtful comfort in mind. For example, the seats are finished in a comfy velour, and you'll instantly feel the advantage of this upholstery every time you hop in on a sunny day. Plus, upgrades like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning makes this a nice car to share with family and friends. But you also don't need any of them to have fun in this Cutlass. Bucket seats, Oldsmobile's four-spoke sports steering wheel, and center console with Hurst shifter all let you know this is a driver's classic. Under the hood is a proper Olds 350 cubic-inch V8. It has a great look with the bold golden block surrounded by plenty of shining components. And while this is not the numbers-matching unit, it is a true era-correct block. Not only do we love the Rocket V8 for being its own independent motor line, but also this historically hardy V8 has been built for added power. You have an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. And you take control of the full power and rumbling soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission. It's a strong motor, and they made sure you'd enjoy driving it thanks to features, like power steering, a rear sway bar, and power brakes with front discs. This is a great-looking droptop classic with all the right features and investments. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call today!!!
