Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1970 Dodge CHALLENGER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1970 Dodge CHALLENGER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Full Description: Up for sale we have a stunning 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. These have always been one of the best cars ever built by Dodge and seeing there was less than 2400 ever built it makes them hard to find. This car has had one of the most impressive restorations we've seen on a Dodge and offers the original Broadcast Sheet. The body on this car is arguably the best of all the E Body Mopars we've ever owned. Restored to the highest level it features almost all original and NOS parts including an original Fresh Air hood. The body lines are as close to perfect as you're going to find and all of the Gaps are even and symmetrical. This car is covered in the factory option of FY1 Banana and is accented by the Black T/A Stripes and Hood. When painted they did a meticulous job of making sure all the panels were straight and then it was buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine that's slick as a ribbon. This '70 also has the correct Black Spoilers and the fast access Quick-Fill fuel door. All the Chrome and Stainless on this car is in like new condition. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15" Steel Wheels with the Dog Dish Hub Caps and the GoodYear PolyGlass GT Tires. Next, we will look at t the interior of this Challenger. On the inside it's also done in the factory Black option which provides the perfect complement to the exterior color combo. All the seat covers appear to have been replaced and the padding is excellent as well. Looking at the door panels, headliner, and carpet you can see that it's all like new too. The console features the Wood Grain accents that ties in perfectly with the steering wheel and dash. Speaking of the dash you can see it has the Rallye Gauges with the Tach and they are working! Also, the dash pad itself is in phenomenal condition. Looking in the trunk you'll notice it's all rock solid and has the Spare, Jack, and Air Bottle. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Dodge. Under the hood it sports that Matching Numbers 340 Six Pack engine that's mated to the Numbers Matching 727 Trans and the correct 8 ¾" Sure Grip rear end with 3.55 Gears. The attention to detail this car had when restored is amazing. The engine bay looks just as it would have in '70 from the stickers to the hose clamps. The six-pack set up is dressed in the correct breather that seals to the fresh air hood. This T/A comes with Power Steering along with Power Brakes with Disc up front and drums on the rear. For exhaust it has the correct manifolds (2863549 and 2863553) with the dual pipes and correct style mufflers with the side exiting exhaust. When you look under this Challenger all the floors and frame appear to be original and rock solid. This car has had the Brake lines replaced along with the bushings and ball joints in the front end. When you look closely at the detail you will notice it also has all the correct markings like it would have when new.
