The XC90 gets freshened exterior styling for 2013 with the addition of standard body-colored front and rear bumpers, sills and wheel arches; a silver front bumper bar; and LED daytime running lights and taillights. If your main goal is to get the family and all their stuff from point A to point B, the Volvo XC90 is still a very strong option. It's a very reasonably priced SUV, is comfortable, has the passenger and cargo space you're looking for and is very safe. If you're looking for something more, like a truly powerful engine, a sportier ride or a fleet vehicle, this may not be it. Put more succinctly, the Volvo XC90 is affordable, safe, and gets the SUV job done, but if you're after an SUV with modern sensibilities in a Volvo, you might want to go for the slightly smaller XC60 or wait for what seems to be an imminent redesign.
